Maureen McDonnell BSN

We are excited about having Maureen McDonnell, BSN working with us. 

Maureen is a registered nurse with 32 years experience in the fields of childbirth education, labor and delivery, newborn care, pediatrics and clinical nutrition. She is the former National Coordinator of the Defeat Autism Now! Conferences and is the cofounder of Saving Our Kids, Healing Our Planet green children’s health expos. Maureen is a passionate advocate, lecturer, and consultant on the biomedical approach to treating autism. Several of her published articles on preventing autism, how nutrition impacts children’s health and behavior and the importance of getting healthy prior to conceiving can be found on her website www.SOKHOP.com and blog www.RaisingHealthyKidsNaturally.blogspot.com. Maureen has six grown children, four new granddaughters and lives with her husband in Barnardsville, NC. 

Maureen will hold a “Meet and Greet” at EarthFare South, in the Community Room, on February 17th from 6:30-8:00 PM.
