Kamila Fiore, APRN-C

I graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing, and became state licensed and Board-Certified in 2007.  I believe so strongly in the practice of root-cause analysis and epigenetic principles that I completed a Fellowship in Metabolic & Nutritional Medicine, as well as certification in Chelation Therapy. I love working in Integrative Medicine because the necessary bio-individual approach to healthcare is honored. I am blessed to be in a field where I can truly help my clients live with the health they need to pursue their passions. When I’m not in the office, I can be found traveling, spending time with family and friends, hiking, gardening, reading, and drawing.

Jayne Levine: Practice Manager

After working in mainstream medicine for almost 20 years, joining AIM in 2008 was a breath of fresh air. Watching patients reclaim their lives using an approach not being driven by insurance companies catapulted my own health transformation.  I manage all of the ‘behind the scenes’ functions for AIM as well as our supplement store, Nutrients Etc.  When I am not in the office or hosting an event, I can be found enjoying the mountains, laughing with friends and participating in the exciting world of canine sports with my 4 dogs.

Teresa Freeman RN, BSN: IV and Lab Nurse

I love coming to work each morning to connect personally with our patients and watch as they become informed and empowered to improve their health. Every day, for 17 years, I’ve seen people’s lives change and it is deeply fulfilling to be part of that. Outside of the office I can be found in the garden, hiking with friends and family, or being harassed by my cat, Kaji.

Jan Ross RN: Holistic Health Coach

Believing I could do more to empower my patients, and wanting to be involved in a practice that operates with a high degree of integrity, I left conventional medicine 18 years ago for a position with AIM.  The biochemical, scientific and investigative approach at Asheville Integrative Medicine has allowed me to help people restore their vitality and their lives in ways that I am proud of. Outside of the office I spend as much time as I can with nature, either hiking, gardening or bird watching.

Joy Lambert: New Patient Coordinator

There IS hope for healing from chronic conditions, and that is why I am here working with this incredible team. At AIM, my passion for helping people succeed, achieve their goals and live a healthier life is fulfilled every day. My previous years of experience working alongside children with special needs and adults with Alzheimer’s & Dementia, set a strong foundation for trusting the healing powers of hope. When I am not in the office I love pursuing the arts of cooking, gardening and crocheting…and going on long walks with the love of my life, Jay.

Lauren Willingham: Administrative Assistant & Phlebotomist

I believe in integrity and that’s why I work at AIM, because we practice with medical sincerity to improve people’s lives. I love hearing our clients tell me they are the healthiest they’ve ever been and that is why I’ve been working here since 2008 as an administrative assistant and ‘jack of all trades’. When I’m not working I can usually be found hiking, swimming, practicing aerial arts, or enjoying the company of my dogs and my fiancé, Caleb.

Jacinda Morrissey: Nutrition Counselor

My passion and heart is to help others thrive in their health so they can be their best selves. I love talking about nutrition and emotional wellness. I am excited to be part of the Asheville Integrative Medicine team because we are empowering our community to reclaim their health by being active partners in their journey. When I am not in the office I really enjoy adventuring in the outdoors, writing, basking in the sun with a good book, and spending time with my daughter, Amelia and my husband, Daniel.

Michelle Schmetterling - Administrative Assistant

Throughout my life I have always believed that Integrative Medicine is the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The principles I’ve learned have helped me feel my best, physically and emotionally. I am honored to be part of the great team here at Asheville Integrative Medicine, and to contribute to the greater community as they learn how to reclaim their health. When I am not in the office I enjoy sharing my yoga teachings with seniors and underprivileged children. I also enjoy meditating, going on adventures with my husband and my dog, Victoria, and traveling to see my extended family and grandchildren.

Christine Ogle: Thermogram Technician

After working as a Medical Assistant on ‘both sides’ of medicine for the past 23 years, I have great respect for the integrity of Integrative Medicine (which I use for myself and my family at home). I believe Thermography is an important tool in health care, and I really enjoy developing relationships with the people I meet.  When I’m not in the office, I am either relaxing or playing with my husband, children and fur babies.
